Simonis & Buunk presents the young Piet Mondrian and the Masters who inspired him

Nineteen paintings from the Simonis & Buunk collection are currently in Georgia. These are namely by Piet Mondrian, along with masters of The Hague School who inspired him. They will go on show for the exhibition Once Upon a Time in Holland, which runs from 1 May to 30 June 2011.

The works are on view at The Chavchavadze House Museum, the former summer house of the famous Georgian poet and writer Alexander Chavchavadze

The exhibition is organised by Simonis & Buunk Fine Art in conjunction with the Georgian Embassy in The Hague.

The initiative comes from Breath Art, part of the international Breath Foundation charity, dedicated to supporting street children in East European countries.

You are warmly invited to visit the show – only this time you don’t travel east to Ede, but east to Georgia!
