In Simonis & Buunk’s restoration studio a team of skilled restorers work on the conservation and restoration of our paintings and those of third parties. Their duties range from cleaning and re-varnishing a painting to more radical intervention, like the filling of cracks, mending tears, securing flaking paint or  repairing a broken panel. All our restoration work is undertaken according to current strict ethical codes governing the profession. If you are considering having any paintings restored, these can be brought into our office any Wednesday (by prior appointment) for an initial appraisal of their condition, restoration advice (recommended treatment) and a price estimate.
