biography of Camille Claus

Camille Claus was born in 1920 in Strasbourg, France. After a learning period at Auguste Herbin (1949-1950), he made a name in the 1950s with geometric-abstract compositions, with which he participated in the famous Salon des Réalités Nouvelles in Paris. After 1956 he gradually turned into imaginative pictures with clear neo-cubist elements.
