The Hague painter Han Krug painted landscapes, sea and beach views and flowers in a neo-impressionist style. He also made beautiful woodcuts. For an ex-libris entry, he received an honorable award at The Bookplate Association's exhibition in Los Angeles. Krug was educated at the academy in The Hague and was a member of Pulchri Studio and the Haagse Aquarellisten. In the period 1952-'56 he taught (painting therapy) to patients of the Groene Kruis Sanatorium in Delft.
