biography of Johannes Hessel Brolsma

J.H. Brolsma was born in Groningen and moved to Amsterdam at the age of 28, where he took painting lessons at the Evening Academy. He then developed his own expressionistic painting style, independent of international movements. In 1954 he settled in Ede.
