Not much is known about the painter Abraham Hulk Jr.. He may have been the son of the marine painter Abraham Sr., who left for London around 1870. The work of this Abraham Jr. contains various English landscapes. Like Willem Frederik Hulk, he devoted himself to painting romantic landscapes, especially river and forest landscapes, marines and beach views.
