Armand Rassenfosse was a student of the Academy of Liège and of Félicien Rops, whose influence is strongly present in his drawings. His work has a modern character. He was friends with several writers and has illustrated 'Les Fleurs du mal' by Charles Baudelaire. Rassenfosse was a member of the Académie Royale de Belgique. He exhibited in 1924 in Liège.
