biography of Cornelis Herman 'Cees' Timmering

Cees Timmering lived and worked in Amsterdam and Eindhoven, and made study trips to France and Switzerland. From 1922 to 1929 he studied at the Amsterdam State Academy, under the direction of Nicolaas van der Waay and J.H. Jurres. He mainly painted and drew still lifes, figure pieces and portraits.
