biography of Gerhard Christiaan 'Gerrit' Haverkamp

The self-taught Gerrit Haverkamp is best known for his landscapes and topographical city and village views. Haverkamp changed his place of residence numerous times during his life. For example, he worked for some time in Paris, Brussels and Antwerp. He eventually settled in Scherpenzeel.
