Giuseppe Minonzio is one of the Italian painters who were influenced by French Impressionism in the early decades of the 20th century. France and the Belle Epoque were also a rich source of inspiration in the choice of subjects. Nightlife scenes and performances with elegant women are part of his oeuvre. Inspired by French developments in the fin de siècle, Minonzio also made colour lithographs that served as the basis for advertising bills and posters.
