biography of 'Gustave' Paul Marie Bettinger

The French Gustave Bettinger was trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris as a painter of genre and history paintings. It is known that he married in The Hague in 1881 and lived in Montmorency in 1890, just north of Paris. At the beginning of the century he exhibited in the French capital at the Salon des Artistes Français.
