biography of Hendrik Manfried Haus

H.M. Haus was born in The Hague in 1803 and moved to Utrecht in 1837. He became known for his ice skating scenes and lively summer landscapes. Source of inspiration were the summer and winter landscapes of his fellow townsman Andreas Schelfhout.
