The German sculptor Heide Dobberkau makes bronze sculptures - especially of animals and human figures - and is particularly known as a designer of medals. With a lot of love and an eye for the characteristic of her subject, she depicts humans and animals in a somewhat stylized style. Dobberkau received her education at academies in Hanover and Berlin. She regularly exhibits her work in various European countries and in the United States. Her work has been awarded several times.
