biography of Helge Waldemar Högbom

The Swedish artist Helge Högbom was trained as a sculptor at academies in Malmö and Stockholm. Portrait busts and figures, especially of women, were his speciality. Högbom made both small statues and sculptures for the outdoor area. For example, in the center of the southern Swedish town of Eslöv there is the fountain 'Leda and the swan'.
