biography of Henri Herman Leonardus Tieland

Henri Tieland spent the period 1917-1945 in the Dutch East Indies as a soldier. During this period he also painted and landscape watercolours and paintings were created, as well as studies for camouflage. After his return to the Netherlands, Tieland settled in Vught. He probably continued painting here as a hobby.
