biography of Henry Malfroy

Henry Malfroy, son of the French painter Charles Malfroy, followed in his father's footsteps. Following the tradition of French impressionism, he paints landscapes, cityscapes of Martiques and Cassis, views of Venice and harbour and seascapes. His Parisian street scenes, which breathe the atmosphere of the Belle Époque, became famous. Henry Malfroy exhibited regularly at the Paris Salon and the Salon des Indépendants.
