biography of Petrus Henricus Theodorus 'Pierre' Tetar van Elven

Son of the painter J.B. Tetar of Elves. Initially painted romantic landscapes, later more cityscapes. He lived and worked in Amsterdam, but made long study trips to Italy and Paris and lived in Milan from 1881.
