biography of Pieter Caspar Christ

Painter of romantic cityscapes and landscapes in the vein of his father and teacher J.F. christ. He lived and worked on the southern Veluwezoom: first in Nijmegen and then in Arnhem. Following the fashion of the time, he also made several journeys along the Rhine. He occasionally worked with Wouterus Verschuur.
