biography of Pieter Haaxman

Pieter Haaxman was educated at the Academie van Beeldende Kunsten in The Hague and was a pupil of the genre painter H.F.C. ten Kate. He excelled in painting narrative genre scenes. A few still lifes and landscapes with figures by him are also known.
