biography of Richard Aurili

Richard Aurili was an Italian sculptor, probably of Tuscan descent. He worked in Belgium until 1890, before moving to France. There, his work was exhibited in the Salon Des Artistes Français in 1893, 1894 and 1896. His oeuvre is extensive, but he is best known for his sculptures of mythological figures, female busts, female figures and gladiators in bronze, marble or clay.
