Rini Dado's bronze statues almost always have people and human movement as their subject. The main theme within Dado's oeuvre is the female body, which is captured in an expressive game of geometric shapes and round lines. Without exception, the powerful, abstracted form language gives her sculptures a monumental appearance. Rini Dado was educated at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Maastricht and the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht. Besides sculptures, Rini Dado also designs for medals and jewelry.
