Born in 1922 in Liège, Belgium, the work of Suzanne Coox covers a wide range of subjects. In addition to landscapes and flowers, it is mainly her genre scenes and figures for which she became known. She paints in a loose, impressionistic style and a clear palette. In the 1950s and 1960s, Suzanne Coox exhibited in several galleries in Liège, as well as with the Cercle des Beaux-Arts in this city.
