Antonius Adrianus Franciscus van den Muysenberg received his training at the Tekenschool School in Amsterdam and was a student of Dirk Kruizenga. He painted, drew and made gouaches, lithographs and copper engravings in a realistic style. City and village views and still lifes were his preferred representation. He was a member of 'De Onafhankelijken', 'St. Lucas' and 'De Brug'.
