biography of Xavier J. Barile

Xavier Barile was born in Tufo, Italy in 1891. For his painting training he left for the United States, where he then settled permanently. Especially in the 1940s, Barile drew a lot of attention there with his work. Besides being a free painter, he was also a well-known illustrator of magazines and books.
