Renato Righetti belongs to the post-war Ecole de Paris. He was born in Rome in 1916 and from about 1937 he worked in a geometric-abstract style, originating from the 'school' of Alberto Magnelli. After 1945 he settled in Paris, where he regularly took part in the prestigious Salon des Réalités Nouvelles.
