The oeuvre of the Amsterdam artist Theo Beerendonk is diverse and shows a clear style development from figuration to abstraction. He painted, but also made sculptures. Flowers, portraits and figure pieces, the female nude, still lifes and self-portraits were his subjects. Beerendonk was educated at the academy in Amsterdam, led by J.H.
