In addition to being a painter, Bob Bonies is also a graphic artist, set designer and sculptor. He painted in an abstract expressionist style until about 1965, after that his work isbecomes geometric-abstract. The painter lived most of his life in The Hague, but he also lived for some time in Stockholm, Washington and Montreal.
