The sculptor Gert Wijmans specializes in working with metal. He mainly made abstract wall sculptures and reliefs in stainless steel and spatial iron constructions. Wijmans was educated at the graphic school in Utrecht and the applied arts school Quellinus in Amsterdam. Some of his sculptures were purchased for the national collection.
