The Argentine-French Horacio Garcia-Rossi belongs to the French Op-Art artists; in 1960 he co-founded the GRAV (Groupe de Recherche d'Art Visuel) group, which also included Victor Vasarely. Their works of art aim to subtly confuse the human eye in an optical sense. In 1967, Garcia-Rossi took part in the high-profile exhibition 'Lumière et Mouvement' at the Musée d'Art Moderne in Paris. Since the 1970s, he has been investigating the interaction between color and light, for example by juxtaposing color bands.
