Cor Bouter is a painter best known for his cityscapes and landscapes with cattle and horses. He also painted beach and sea views as well as idyllic peasant interiors in The Hague School style, which were very popular in Canada and the United States. He sometimes used the pseudonyms W. Hendriks, C. Verschuur or F. Willems.
