Weissenbruch went out to paint in both rain and sunshine: 'I want to see nature at work (...). I put on my jacket, put my feet in clogs, and go for a walk.' In this painting, we first see light, air, and water; he adds color with the soft pastel shades of laundry on the clothesline. The work was exhibited at Tefaf in 2005 at Noortman Fine Arts.
